Creating an Expedition

In chapter 4 the kids went on an expedition through the snowy woods. I want you to invent some kind of expedition. It can be in your neighborhood, in another state or even another country. Let it be a three-day adventure. Create an itinerary. Describe where you will lead your group each day and describe what they will do hour-by-hour through the day.

Let's Begin:
Create a color brochure. Take a sheet of paper and fold it three ways.
a. Front fold #1--Your trip cover page design. Make it interesting so people will want to pick it up and join your trip.
b. Fold #2--Day One's agenda.
c. Fold #3--Day Two
d. Fold #4--Day Three
e. Fold #5--Cost of the trip. Rules, guidelines, trip dates, deadlines to sign up, airport to leave from etc. any details needed for the traveler to know to get ready for the trip.
f. Fold #6--Your biographical information. Your picture, background, expertise, experience as a trip leader etc.

Okay---you did it. Now present your trip to the class. Best trip wins a prize!
